Earlier today, Warner Bros. shared the first poster for Dune: Part 2 ahead of tomorrow's full trailer, and we now have a first official look at some footage from Denis Villeneuve's highly-anticipated sci-fi sequel.

The teaser begins with Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) making his way deep into Arrakis to plant a thumper, which will attract one of the planet's gigantic sandworms. As part of the Fremen rite of passage, Paul - now known as Muad'Dib - will have to scale a worm and ride it across the desert.

The footage concludes with a glimpse of the movie's returning characters, along with some new faces, and we get a first proper look at Austin Butler as the sadistic Feyd Rautha Harkonnen.

The saga continues as award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve embarks on Dune: Part Two, the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune, with an expanded all-star international ensemble cast. The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s six-time Academy Award-winning Dune.

Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

The movie also stars Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Léa Seydoux with Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem.
