FURIOSA Set Photos Reveal THOR's Chris Hemsworth Has Undergone Yet ANOTHER Shocking Transformation

The latest photos from the set of Furiosa have revealed another startling transformation for Avengers: Endgame star Chris Hemsworth, and you may struggle to recognise the actor looking at these images...

Earlier this summer, Thor: Love and Thunder star Chris Hemsworth was spotted on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road prequel Furiosa looking unrecognisable with long red hair and a beard. The signs appeared to be pointing to the actor playing a younger version of Immortan Joe in the movie, but the plot has thickened with this latest batch of set photos.

Shared by Mail Online, it looks like several years have passed in the life of Hemsworth's character as his hair has lost that bright colouring. The Australian actor could also be seen wearing a prosthetic nose, while his costume definitely fits into the Mad Max aesthetic!

Hemsworth was also seen surrounded by extras as he jumped into the driver's seat of a massive tank-like vehicle, and while it's certainly possible he's playing a different character, we remain convinced that this is a younger Immortan Joe. What we can say for sure is that the usually very handsome actor looks a far cry from being the MCU's God of Thunder.

Anya Taylor-Joy was also recently photographed on the set of Furiosa as the movie's title character, and she too looks quite a bit different to her usual self.

That's part and parcel with joining a franchise like this one, of course, and we're hoping for more set photos now that work has resumed on the movie following director George Miller's brush with COVID (you can read more about that by clicking here).

"As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus," reads a recently released synopsis. "Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home."

Cameras are once again rolling on Furiosa, and it's currently set to be released in theaters on May 24, 2024.
