Back in the '70s, Marvel published a total of 29 blacka and white comics magazines of Planet of the Apes  that featured adaptations of all five films from the original cycle of the franchise, plus an assortment of new comic stories as well as in depth articles that took readers behind the scenes on the entire saga. Adventures on the Planet of the Apes took the adaptations of the first two films and republished them in standard comic format, but in color. Those are the issues that will be featured in the omnibus next year.
