With less than two weeks left before Ahsoka arrives on Disney+, Lucasfilm has released the full release schedule for Dave Filoni's live-action Star Wars Rebels follow-up.
There are no major surprises here as we already knew the show would launch with a two-episode premiere. However, there isn't going to be a two-part finale because we can expect single episodes each week through October 4.
In related news, we also have confirmed runtimes for the premiere; episode 1 will be 54 minutes and 21 seconds, while episode 2 is going to be 42 minutes and 15 seconds. Without credits, though, they'll be 51 minutes and 6 seconds and 38 minutes and 33 seconds respectively.
It's unclear whether critics will be sent any episodes in advance, but we expect Lucasfilm to keep Ahsoka's biggest surprises a closely guarded secret given the nature of this Ahsoka Tano's spin-off series.
Here are those dates for your Star Wars-branded diaries...
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
Ahsoka will launch exclusively on Disney+ on August 23 with a two-episode premiere.
