We've now reached the halfway point of Ahsoka and this week's fourth episode definitely upped the ante by delivering some big surprises. Among them was the return of The Mandalorian star Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Captain Carson Teva.
In last week's instalment of the live-action Star Wars Rebels follow-up, Chancellor Mon Mothma and her fellow officials turned down Hera Syndulla's request to send a strike force to Seatos to help Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren stop Grand Admiral Thrawn.
That left the Rebel to take matters into her own hands, and "Fallen Jedi" saw her go AWOL with Chopper and her son Jacen. However, Teva and a squad of X-Wings joined them, making it clear they're willing to help Phoenix Leader do what the New Republic isn't.
The Mandalorian fan-favourite is back after previously befriending Din Djarin and turning to the bounty hunter for help when the government failed him during the show's third season. Considering the fact he's friends with Zeb, it surely can't be too much longer before that Ghost crew member shows up, right?
We'll see, but for those of you wondering why there's no sign of an Anakin Skywalker poster...well, we're guessing that's coming next week. In the latest episode's closing moments, Ahsoka came face-to-face with her former Master in the World Between Worlds and next Tuesday's Dave Filoni-helmed effort is bound to further explore this long-awaited reunion.
You can take a closer look at Carson Teva's Ahsoka character poster below.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
The first four episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.
