Well, this is interesting.
Empire Magazine has debuted a new still from the upcoming Disney+ Ahsoka series, and it reveals that the show will feature at least one Inquisitor.
If you've been keeping up with the live-action and animated Galaxy Far, Far Away adventures, you'll likely be aware that these warriors were former Jedi who turned to the dark side and served Darth Vader and the Empire as Jedi hunters.
Moses Ingram played the first live-action Inquisitor, Reva, in Obi-Wan Kenobi, but this is the first time we've seen one of these powerful villains in the post-Return of the Jedi era that Ahsoka takes place in.
The mag doesn't provide any details on the character, but it should be worth picking up a copy when it hits shelves this Thursday to find out more.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
The series stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, with Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Kevin Kiner was announced as the series' composer.
Ahoska is written by executive producer Dave Filoni, alongside executive producers Favreau, Kennedy, Wilson, and Beck. Gilchrist is co-executive producer. The series’ directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa.
