The excitement leading into the final two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett has been building and yesterday's penultimate installment did not dissapoint!

Plenty of familiar faces made appearances, but perhaps the most exciting moment for Star Wars fans of the animated shows was the live-action debut of the notorious bounty hunter Cad Bane.

For those unfamiliar with the character, Cad Bane is a Duros bounty hunter and mercenary whose career spanned from the fall of the Galactic Republic, the reign of the Glactic Empire, and into the era of the New Republic. He was considered one of the best bounty hunters during the Clone Wars after the death of Jango Fett.

There have been rumors that Bane may appear in the Star Wars Disney+ series, but after Fett and Fennec Shand began recruiting muscle for their war with the Pykes over the course of the last few episodes, many assumed the mercenary side with Lord Fett. But true to his ruthless nature, the Duros sharp-shooter sold his services to the highest bidder.

After gunning down Cobb Vanth on behalf of the Pyke Syndicate, the stage has been set for an epic showdown with Fett, Shand and Din Djarin in next Wednesday's season finale.
