THE MANDALORIAN: Christopher Lloyd And Lizzo Comment On Their Cameos In "Guns For Hire" - SPOILERS

The Mandalorian's latest episode featured its fair share of big surprises, with most of those coming in the form of cameo appearances. Now, Christopher Lloyd and Grammy-winner Lizzo have commented on that!

In this week's episode of The Mandalorian, we paid a visit to an Outer Rim planet called Plazir-15 where we met its rulers...The Super Mario Bros. Movie star Jack Black (Captain Bombardier) and Grammy winner Lizzo (The Duchess).

The former has already shared his thoughts on joining the Star Wars franchise, and Lizzo has now weighed in with a couple of brief social media posts. After Tweeting out a photo of herself surrounded by Grogu merchandise (the singer and actress is clearly a huge fan), she responded positively when a follower suggested he become a permanent addition to this Galaxy.

Prior to The Mandalorian's season 3 launch, there were rumours we might see Back to the Future icon Christopher Lloyd make an appearance.

As it happens, he did indeed show up in "Guns For Hire" as the villainous Commissioner Hellgate. A Separatist loyalist who believed in Count Dooku's ideals, he was banished from Plazir-15 after using the planet's droids for his own nefarious means.

In a recent Instagram Story, Lloyd wrote: "Great Scott! Found myself in a whole new universe. Watch now..."

Overall, this was another solid instalment of The Mandalorian, albeit one that didn't move the story along quite as much as some will have been hoping. It did feature a fun mystery, a huge status quo change for the Darksaber, and these massive cameo appearances...which, if we're being honest, were perhaps a little distracting.

With only two episodes left, here's hoping the pace picks up a little as season 3 has definitely been a tad directionless.

What did you think about The Mandalorian's latest episode?
