The Mandalorian season 3 has spent far more time than we expected focusing on Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan Kryze, but that's proved to be far from a bad thing thus far.
After inadvertently bathing in the Living Waters beneath Mandalore, Bo-Katan has been "redeemed" and welcomed into the same group Din Djarin was recruited by as a foundling. We're still not sure how much Mandalore's former leader believes in "The Way," but if she does end up betraying Din and Grogu...well, that's really going to sting.
During a recent interview with the Star Wars Sessions podcast, Brendan Wayne - who is more often than not in Mando's suit alongside Lateef Crowder in place of Pedro Pascal - teased what sounds like eventual clash between Din and Bo-Katan.
"There’s a scene coming up with Bo and Mando, and it is...I don’t know which version they chose, as far as what was going back and forth between us," the actor said. "I had a great time doing that, and it was a lot of varying emotions came here and there, and this, there’s just such a really cool quality that I felt that I was able to play around in as an actor."
"Most of the time you’re not aware of it, you’re in the moment and you go - but there’s something about that, and the do-si-do that we had, while physical and verbal, was super-intense, and I think it’s gonna be really cool. I think you’re gonna enjoy it."
It sounds like Din and Bo will come to blows both verbally and physically, suggesting their viewpoints could eventually lead to a clash.
Then again, Wayne hasn't outright said they'll fight and it's just as feasible that these unlikely allies team up while reeling off what sounds like some memorable lines of dialogue. Perhaps they attempt to tame the Mythosaur together? We'd prefer that over Bo potentially looking to get her hands back on the Darksaber, anyway!
A new episode of The Mandalorian arrives on Disney+ tomorrow, so you'll want to check back here then for our full breakdown of the show's latest chapter.
