Lance Reddick, the prolific actor best known for his work on HBO's The Wire and the John Wick movie franchise, has passed away at the age of 60.

Details are still filtering through, but TMZ is reporting that Reddick was discovered at his Studio City home Friday morning around 9:30 AM.

The cause of death is currently unclear, but "law enforcement sources say it appears to be natural."

Lance was in the middle of a press tour John Wick Chapter 4, and was scheduled to attend the premiere on Wednesday before revealing that he was going to have to skip the event via a social media video. It's unknown if the reason had anything to do with the health issues which may have led to his death.

Reddick appeared in numerous film and TV roles over the years, including Oz, Lost, Bosch, Angel Has Fallen, and short-lived sci-fi drama, Fringe. He had completed several projects before his passing, including the John Wick spinoff, The Ballerina, and 20th Century’s remake of White Men Can’t Jump, which is set for release on May 19.

Lance is survived by his wife Stephanie Reddick and children Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick.

All our thoughts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
