Following last week's cryptic teaser, Peacock has released a full trailer for a new sci-fi tinged drama series called Mrs. Davis, which focuses on a dedicated nun's (GLOW star Betty Gilpin) mission to take down the world's most powerful Artificial Intelligence - and find the Holy Grail in the process!
Yeah, this one looks pretty out-there!
Gilpin's Simone is hell-bent on taking Mrs. Davis down, even though the eponymous AI in question is no sinister megalomaniacal entity bent on destroying humanity like Skynet from the Terminator movies. “
"We wanted the opposite of exoskeletons crushing human skulls,” showrunner/exec producer Damon Lindelof tells Vulture.
