Following last week's show-stopping season three finale, Apple TV+ surprise-dropped the first official teaser trailer for the fourth and final season of Silo, and confirmed the final batch of episodes will premiere on July 9, 2027!

Spoilers ahead, but the third season ended in jaw-dropping fashion as we finally got some real answers about what's been going on in Silo 18 and what's hiding in Silo 1.

After the season's penultimate hour ended with a nuclear explosion that sent Daniel (Ashley Zukerman) and Helen (Jessica Henwick) into separate silos, the finale spent the majority of its runtime focusing on Daniel in Silo 1. He's been renamed Troy after being given memory-erasing drugs and put into cryo-sleep for decades at a time. Now a cold-blooded specialist who is only awakened to handle crises for The Project, he executes the tragic, mass destruction of the escapees from Silo 17—aka Solo's former home. However, despite the extreme conditioning, he retains distant flashes of his lost love Helen, though he's unable to place a name to her face for most of the episode. More on that in a bit!

Meanwhile, it's also revealed that the voice behind The Algorithm in IT was actually Dr. Victor Crnkovich (Matt Craven), who has been communicating directly with Camille (Alexandria Riley). Thanks to a sharp piece of deceit, Camille and Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) manage to trick him, giving Knox (Shane McRae) and Shirley (Remmie Milner) enough time to block the safeguard pipe.

Shaken by the deception and unwilling to order another mass extermination, Victor sends a drone to monitor Silo 18 and reawakens Troy. He then shockingly commits suicide.

With Victor dead, Troy assumes control of The Algorithm and contacts Silo 18. Juliette engages with him and manages to strike a tentative deal: Silo 18 will be left alone as long as they don't attempt to contact another silo. Juliette accepts, but immediately turns around and tells her allies that defending themselves isn't enough—they need to strike first and attack Silo 1 directly. The war is officially on!

Before taking his own life, Victor left behind a hidden video recording for Troy. Troy hits play and receives one final message from Victor, who finally gives him the answer he's been searching for: the woman in his visions is Helen Drew. Hearing her name triggers an immediate flood of emotion in Troy just before the screen cuts to black. Now, we wait for season four!

Rebecca Ferguson headlines the cast, which is also expected to return Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, Clare Perkins, Ashley Zukerman, Jessica Henwick, Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, Matt Craven, Colin Hanks, and Steve Zahn.

Silo returns for its fourth and final season on July 9, 2027!

Based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy, season three of “Silo" reveals an origin story set centuries earlier, while continuing the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances. In the present, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) survives her forced “cleaning” but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in the “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences.
