Doctor Who: The Power of the Doctor just aired, and the episode concluded with Jodie Whittaker's thirteenth iteration of the iconic Time Lord regenerating into... David Tennant's!?
Fans were wondering how Tennant's tenth Doctor would factor into next year's new series, with many speculating that some sort of time-displacement or alternate reality adventure would allow him to return. We're not sure why 13 reverted back to 10, but it looks like Tennant will be the one to eventually regenerate into Ncuti Gatwa's fourteenth Doctor.
BBC debuted a brief teaser for the new season below, which gives us a first look at the Sex Education actor as our new Doctor.
