Every actor who signs on to play The Doctor knows that their time in the TARDIS is limited, and after three seasons and several specials, Jodie Whittaker will soon bid farewell to the iconic Time Lord in Doctor Who: The Power of The Doctor.

The 90-minute episode is set to air tomorrow night, and BBC has now debuted a new trailer looking back at all previous incarnations of The Doctor as their last adventures loomed. Then, right at the end, we get some new footage from The Power of the Doctor, and a brief shot of Whittaker's final scene.

As we already know, she's set to "regenerate" into the fourteenth iteration of The Doctor, who will be played by Ncuti Gatwa. The Sex Education actor has now been confirmed to appear, but we can't imagine him not showing up in the episode's closing moments.

Check out the new promo in the player below.
