It's been nearly three years since former Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Green and White Ranger actor Jason David Frank tragically took his own life at the age of 49, back in November 2022. His co-star, Amy Jo Johnson, the original Pink Ranger, is still grieving.
It seems a fan at the Niagara Falls Comic Con gave her an old photo of her and Jason, which set off a flood of memories.
The post also attracted a ton of Power Rangers fans who expressed that they'll always have a special place in their hearts for Tommy and Kimberly.

For many Power Ranger fans, Tommy Oliver was the definite Ranger, having gone from Rita Repulsa's evil henchman to Zordon's ultra-powerful ace-in-the-hole and eventual team leader.

Frank’s journey as Tommy didn’t end there, he reprised the role in Power Rangers Zeo (1996, 50 episodes), Power Rangers Turbo (1997, 19 episodes), and later returned in Power Rangers Dino Thunder (2004, 38 episodes), solidifying his place as one of the most enduring characters in the franchise.
Beyond his main roles, Frank frequently returned for epic crossover episodes and fan-favorite reunions. His appearances included 2002’s Forever Red (Power Rangers Wild Force), 2014’s Legendary Battle (Super Megaforce), 2018’s Shattered Grid (Power Rangers Hyperforce), and Dimensions in Danger (Super Ninja Steel, also 2018).
