OBI-WAN KENOBI Plot Leak Reveals Whether Qui-Gon Returns, Darth Vader Battle, And...The Show's Ending?

Making Star Wars has been sharing a lot of spoilery details about Obi-Wan Kenobi lately, but the latest might be the most revealing yet. The hope among fans is that Liam Neeson will make a cameo appearance as Qui-Gon Jinn in the Disney+ limited series, and while we recently learned there's a strong possibility of that coming to pass, the site has now elaborated on those plans.

As you might expect, when we find Obi-Wan ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, he's lonely and broken. Using the Force to call out to his old Master, "Ben" has no luck in reaching Qui-Gonn. However, when fate pulls him away from Tatooine and he gets to see how defiant the young Princess Leia is in the face of the Empire's rule, a spark is ignited within the Jedi hero.

After initially being bested by Darth Vader, their second battle reportedly takes place on Mustafar's Moon. There, Qui-Gonn finally appears as a voice to encourage Obi-Wan in the face of his greatest challenge yet. Obi-Wan then realises he still has work to do and that, eventually, they will be able to overcome Emperor Palpatine's rule and overthrow the evil Empire that's subjugated the Galaxy.

The site goes on to explain that by the time Obi-Wan returns to Tatooine, he's a changed man. He's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master, again. It's then that Qui-Gonn finally appears as a Force Ghost, and now Obi-Wan is fully connected to the living Force, the work must begin for him to become more powerful than ever before (which leads to him guiding Luke on his path to beating Palpatine years later).

Needless to say, this is all very exciting, and if this is where the story is heading, it sounds like Lucasfilm has definitely set out to make Star Wars fans happy...something the sequels failed to do!
