OBI-WAN KENOBI's Second Episode Ends With A Major Cliffhanger And A First Look At [SPOILER]

Obi-Wan Kenobi got off to one heck of a start today, but the second chapter ends with a huge cliffhanger and a tease that's bound to leave Star Wars fans counting down the seconds until next week's episode.

What an awesome start, eh?

Obi-Wan Kenobi looks set to be every bit as amazing as we hoped, and if the first two episodes are any indication, we're in for quite a ride over the next four weeks. While much of the opening chapters were devoted to pulling "Ben" out of retirement to save Princess Leia (with the Sith Inquisitors in hot pursuit), Darth Vader is finally revealed in the second episode's closing moments.

It turns out Obi-Wan had no idea Anakin Skywalker survived the events of Revenge of the Sith and Reva takes great delight in breaking the news to the Jedi Master.

Reeling from that, a stunned Obi-Wan says "Anakin" and the screen immediately cuts to Darth Vader inside a Bacta Tank. Hayden Christensen returns as the iconic villain for this scene and looks horribly disfigured after his battle years earlier with Obi-Wan on Mustafar.

The episode ends with Vader's familiar breathing, and it appears the fallen hero is all too aware of Kenobi's presence. After all, "Ben" had cut himself off from the Force until being left with no other option than to spring into action and save Leia, and something tells us Anakin would have no trouble sensing a presence he hadn't felt in a very long time.

Take a look at how today's Obi-Wan Kenobi premiere ended below:
