THE MANDALORIAN Season 2 Concept Art Reveals Early Frog Lady Design, Din Djarin Unmasked, And More

Some newly revealed concept art from The Mandalorian's season 2 showcases an early Frog Lady design, the huge moment Din Djarin was forced to remove his helmet, and the bounty hunter wielding the Darksaber.

The Mandalorian has been superb from the start, and the series continues to increase in popularity. Din Djarin even overshadowed Boba Fett in the iconic bounty hunter's own spinoff, and now Mando has been reunited with Grogu, we can't help but wonder where this story is going to take us next.

Rumour has it the focus will shift to Mandalore and the many different Mandalorian factions coming together to try and restore their homeworld after it was wiped out by the Empire. That certainly makes sense following the introduction of the Darksaber, and you have to believe Din will be at the heart of whatever happens next; whether he's destined to rule over Mandalore remains to be seen.

While the villainous Moff Gideon has been imprisoned by the New Republic, his role in the destruction of Mandalore and all those hints he was involved with Emperor Palpatine's plan to create a new, cloned body likely means we'll learn more about that too. As divisive as the Star Wars sequels were, a little backstory that better explains Darth Sidious' failing will no doubt be welcomed by fans.

In the meantime, The Mandalorian concept artist Brian Matyas has shared some more of his work on season 2, including a badass shot of Din wielding the Darksaber, an early Frog Lady design, and the momentous moment the bounty hunter was left with no other choice than to remove his helmet.
