Despite rumors that Temple of Doom's Short Round (Ke Huy Quan) might be set to make a cameo in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, only one character from previous Indy movies ended up putting in an appearance, and Marion Ravenwood now has a poster of her own.
When their son Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf) is killed (off-screen) in Vietnam prior to the events of the movie, Marion and Indy's marriage falls apart, and we learn that they have separated at the beginning of the film.
Marion ultimately returns to her estranged husband to give their marriage another go, however, and they share a kiss after re-enacting the "where doesn't it hurt" scene from Raiders, bringing Doctor Henry "Indiana" Jones' story to an emotional, satisfying conclusion.
Check out the poster at the link below.
The movie also stars Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory), John Rhys-Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark), Shaunette Renee Wilson (Black Panther), Thomas Kretschmann (Das Boot), Toby Jones (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Oliver Richters (Black Widow), and Ethann Isidore (Mortel).
Directed by James Mangold, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has worked on each Indy adventure since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, once again composed the score.
