Ahead of the return of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds this week, Paramount+ has shared the episode titles for the upcoming fourth season. Season 4 is set to debut on Paramount+ on July 23, and will feature 10 episodes.

The season will kick off with Episode 1, titled "Valles Marineris," this Thursday, with new episodes airing weekly. The season will conclude with "Tomorrow's Enterprise," before going on hiatus until the fifth and final season, which has already been filmed and is now in post-production.

Here are the premiere dates and titles for all Season 4 episodes:

  • July 23: "Valles Marineris" (401)
  • July 30: “The Griffin Incident” (402)
  • August 6: “Human Best Friend” (403)
  • August 13: “A Case of Chiaroscuro” (404)
  • August 20: “Level-Five Transporter Accident” (405)
  • August 27: “Off-Hour” (406)
  • September 3: “Like Chronitons Through the Hourglass” (407)
  • September 10: “Orders of Magnitude” (408)
  • September 17: “Once La’an a Time” (409)
  • September 24: "Tomorrow's Enterprise" (410)

With less than a week to go until Strange New Worlds returns, the Star Trek social accounts have been actively teasing the highly anticipated fourth season. Just this week, a new video was posted highlighting the crew of the Enterprise and assigning them a nickname, from Captain Pike's "The Hair in the Chair" to James Kirk's "The Future Legend."

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 is said to be more episodic in its storytelling, focusing more on individual character-driven stories. That said, the season will continue to experiment with genre and tone.

“Season 4 is what I would call very pure Strange New Worlds,” showrunner Akiva Goldsman told Polygon back in May, reaffirming the season will strongly reflect the show's identity and formula of mixing classic Star Trek exploration with different storytelling styles, character-focused episodes, humor, action, and drama.

The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, led by Captain Christopher Pike, embarks on a series of thrilling and emotional adventures across the stars. On their journey, they will battle inner demons and external threats, encounter colorful new characters, reunite with familiar faces and confront terrifying aliens. Through it all, they strive to embrace a bright, hopeful future.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is confirmed to be ending after its truncated fifth and final season. Paramount+ has not announced when it will premiere, but it's currently in post-production so the wait between seasons probably won't be too long. Beyond Season 5, the future of Star Trek remains a mystery as no new shows have been greenlit.
