The SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes are causing major headaches for Hollywood studios, but they are also having an impact on streaming services, and Netflix has now decided to push six of its original movies into next year.

The biggest of these projects is arguably Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's (28 Weeks Later, Intruders) fantasy adventure Damsel, which stars Stranger Things alum Millie Bobby Brown as a princess who agrees to marry Prince Henry before coming to realize that the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to a dragon to repay an ancient debt.

When it becomes clear that no one is coming to save her, Elodie decides to take matters into her own hands and slay the fire-breathing beast herself.

We've only seen a brief teaser and a couple of promo images for Damsel, but Brown's legions of fans are sure to be disappointed that the movie will no longer be debuting this October as originally scheduled.

The five other films are: Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman's A Family Affair, Kevin Hart comedy Lift, Damon Wayans Jr and Gina Rodriguez's Players, Regina King's Shirley Chisholm biopic Shirley, and Adam Sandler's sci-fi comedy Spaceman.

Netflix has yet to make the delays official.
