LEGO STAR TREK Leaks: Everything We Know About The USS Enterprise And Type-15 Shuttlepod Sets

Just last week, Lego Group and Paramount officially announced their first-ever collaboration to bring Star Trek to life in LEGO brick form. The two companies put out a joint statement announcing the new partnership built on "strong shared values of imagination, exploration and building a better tomorrow."

They also released a teaser video highlighting the first-ever LEGO Star Trek minifigure. The video revealed Captain Jean-Luc Picard in LEGO brick form beaming on the teleporter.

No further details have been shared as of this writing, but there have been plenty of rumors swirling around the corners of the internet for a while now, giving us a strong sense of what to expect from this upcoming collaboration.

The most popular rumor to date, which has also been backed by numerous leaks and even images, suggests that the first major LEGO set for Star Trek will be based on the iconic USS Enterprise D starship from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Early details suggest that this set will consist of approximately 3,600 pieces and measure around 60 cm (~23 inches) in length. Leaked images have revealed a model that mirrors the show's iconic design, including the saucer section that can detach from the engineering hull, phaser strips, transporter emitters, and sensor bands.

The set is expected to come with multiple minifigures based on the beloved Enterprise crew, including: Captain Picard (with a cup of tea), Commander Riker (with a trombone), Lt. Commander Data (with his cat Spot), Lt. Worf (with Phaser cheese slope), Geordi La Forge (with an engineering field kit briefcase), Dr. Beverly Crusher (with medical tricorder), Counselor Troi (with PADD), Wesley Crusher (with an engineering field kit), and Guinan (with a bottle).

Leaked images have also revealed that the Enterprise will be mounted on a black stand and include a gray platform for the minifigures to stand on. Based on what we've seen, this looks to be aimed more towards collectors and passionate Star Trek fans rather than kids.

The USS Enterprise D will presumably be the flagship set for the first wave of LEGO Star Trek. It will reportedly release on Black Friday, November 28, 2025, for around $399.99. Although there have been no reports of any additional sets launching alongside it, there have been leaks for a Type-15 Shuttlepod (#40768) set that will be included for free with all purchases of the Enterprise D (while supplies last). This special bonus will feature an exclusive Ensign Ro minifigure.

LEGO and Paramount have yet to reveal the official details of their first Star Trek collaboration, but we'll be sure to let you know anything else we discover.
