Following the launch of the LEGO Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, LEGO apparently has its sights now set on Star Trek: The Original Series.

According to the latest leaks from Brick Clicker, the rumored Star Trek: The Bridge Diorama will release in Summer 2026. The number of pieces and price have not yet been revealed.

The rumored set is said to be based off of Star Trek: The Original Series, the beloved sci-fi classic that jump-started the entire Star Trek franchise. The Bridge Diorama will include minifigures, which we assume will be of the main crew on the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

One of the leaks have revealed the blue torso and hairpiece of Spock, including his signature pointy Vulcan ears. There's also been a torso revealed of the red uniform color, which could be engineering/security, like Scotty. Since this would be a replica of the bridge, we also expect  minigiures for Leonard McCoy, Uhura, Sulu, and Checkov

LEGO has not yet confirmed the legitimacy of the leak and usually don't address rumors. That said, with a release rumored for Summer 2026, we should get a formal announcement soon.

Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D marked the first ever LEGO Star Trek collaboration. The 3,600-piece set recreates the iconic ship from The Next Generation, and features minifigures of Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew. The detailed replica, which checks in at 3,600 pieces, features a detachable command saucer, opening shuttle bay, and angld display stand. It also includes minifgures of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Lieutenant Commander Data, Liutenant Worf, Commander William Riker, Counsellor Deanna Troi, Dr. Beverly Crusher, Liutenant Commander Geordi La Forge, Guinan, and Wesley Crusher.

As the first ever LEGO Star Trek set, reception to the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D has been mostly positive, especially for longtime fans of the franchise. But a set based on The Original Series would hit differently as it's the OG Star Trek series, and characters like James T. Kirk and Spock are universally beloved.

Created by Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek: The Original Series aired from 1966 to 1969. It follows Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise in the 23rd century as they embark on a mission to "explore strange new worlds."

Although The Original Series only aired for three seasons and a total of 79 episodes, it's considered one of the most influential pieces of sci-fi work, introducing iconic ideas like the Prime Directive and concepts like communicators. The series was also one of the first to embrace diversity on television.
