Today's episode of The Mandalorian may have been brief, but it still ended up feeling like two episodes in one!
Greef Karga actor Carl Weathers stepped behind the camera of "The Foundling" to tell one story about Din Djarin, Bo-Katan Kryze, and Paz Vizsla teaming up to rescue the latter's son and another about what happened to Grogu during Order 66.
Yes, we finally know who rescued The Child from Anakin Skywalker's attack on the Jedi Temple and it wasn't Mace Windu, Yoda, or any other character we're already familiar with. Instead, Ahmed Best (who played Jar Jar Binks in the prequels) reprised his role from the Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge game show as Jedi Master Kelleran Beq.
After successfully escaping Coruscant with Grogu, the stage has been set for a future episode of The Mandalorian to finally shed some light on what happened to everyone's favourite foundling during the decades that followed.

Now, we have some concept art and stills from Chapter 20 showcasing all the biggest moments, including the battle between those Jedi Knights and Palpatine's Clone Troopers.
We're looking forward to Best speaking out on his return to this Galaxy Far, Far Away and it's beyond awesome that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have found a way to give him a second chance in this franchise. While he was great as Jar Jar, many fans decided to take their disdain for the prequels and aim it at the actor...as if the trilogy's failings were his fault!
It remains to be seen when and where we'll next see Kelleran and Grogu together, but with only four episodes left in season 3, this might just be a story that ends up being told another day. We have an inkling it's going to be an important addition to the wider Mando-verse, though.
